What AI models can I use?

What is the MCP Connection?
The MCP (Model Context Protocol) Connection is a built-in server that connects AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, Gemini and Codex directly to your Nifty Hub data. Your AI tools can query live clients, backlinks, SEO rankings, tasks and helpdesk tickets in natural language — without exporting CSVs or copy-pasting data.
Which AI tools are compatible with the MCP server?
Any MCP-compatible client can connect. This includes Claude (web), Claude Code (CLI), Cursor, Gemini, Codex, and other tools like VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, n8n and Make. The server endpoint is copy-paste ready — just paste it into your AI tool's connector settings.
Do I need an API key to connect?
No. The MCP server uses secure OAuth auto-approve — there are no API keys to manage. Just copy the server endpoint URL from the MCP Connection settings page and paste it into your AI tool.
What data can my AI assistant access via MCP?
13+ data tools are available, covering clients, backlinks, tasks, SEO rankings, blog posts, social media posts, on-page SEO, AEO tasks, helpdesk tickets and more. The AI can also save analysis and data back into Nifty Hub for future reference.
Can I control who has access to the MCP Connection settings?
Yes. Admins always have access, and you can grant non-admin staff access via the Users permission grid. The MCP Connection has its own permission key, so you decide exactly who can view and manage the server settings.
Are AI task conversations saved?
Yes. Every AI run is saved with full conversation history, searchable and shareable with team members. You can continue any past conversation, duplicate runs, and archive completed ones.
